NADA Hosts Comprehensive Interaction with Regional Associations in Chitwan

A comprehensive interaction program was held in Jagatpur, Chitwan, between the Presidents of the NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal, the Chitwan Automobiles Association, and the NADA Regional Association. The program, hosted by NADA’s regional vice president Tej Narayan Sah, included extensive discussions on contemporary issues in the automobile sector.

The discussions covered 14 key topics, including how to advance the structure of provinces, digitalization of NADA membership, amendments to NADA’s constitution, challenges posed by open borders, issues related to old stock held by businesses, the history of NADA, the need for mandatory provincial approval when acquiring NADA membership, and how funds raised by NADA can support the provinces.

Other topics included the issues between vehicle importers and dealers, the impact of the current economic recession on the automobile business, the management and legality of second-hand automobile parts, customs valuation challenges, and information about the auto expo organized by the Chitwan Automobile Dealers Association (CADA).

After the program, NADA’s outgoing president, Dr. Dhruba Thapa, held a special discussion on the current challenges faced by the automobile industry and their possible solutions.
